According to Ukrinform, this was reported by The Independent citing the PA news agency.
"Sir Keir Starmer spoke with U.S. President Donald Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron after welcoming Volodymyr Zelensky at Downing Street," the statement reads.
It is noted that the British Prime Minister's conversation with Trump took place for the second time in two days, as Starmer "seeks to act as a bridge between Europe and America and to maintain the transatlantic NATO alliance together." Details of the discussions between the high-ranking officials have not been disclosed.
As reported by Ukrinform, on Saturday in London, Zelensky and Starmer discussed steps for ending the war with a just peace, security guarantees, and specific measures to strengthen Ukraine's positions.
On Sunday, March 2, a summit of European leaders regarding Ukraine will take place in Britain.
