He reported this on Facebook, as conveyed by Ukrinform.
"The enemy is actively conducting offensive operations in this direction, attempting to breach our forces' defenses and capture three populated areas. However, we have implemented a series of measures to enhance the coordination between military units and conducted troop regrouping, which has slowed the enemy's advance in most of the threatening areas," noted Syrskyi.
At the command posts, he listened to the commander of the operational-tactical group "Donetsk," Brigadier General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, and brigade commanders regarding combat operations, current needs, and issues. He issued all necessary orders to address these matters.
"The plans of the Russian occupiers in these directions have remained unchanged for over three years, specifically – to reach the administrative borders of Donetsk. However, the enemy's losses are only increasing, and their plans remain unfulfilled. Our warriors inflict maximum losses on the enemy's personnel and equipment," emphasized Syrskyi.
He expressed heartfelt gratitude to the defenders of Ukraine for their effectiveness, courage, and resilience.
As reported by Ukrinform, on the front line over the past day, February 26, there were 110 combat clashes, with Ukrainian forces repelling 33 enemy assaults in the Pokrovsk direction.
