Defense forces shot down 90 Russian drones, while an additional 72 were lost due to location issues.

According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Armed Forces Air Force reports this via Telegram.

Starting from 20:00 on Wednesday, February 26, the Russians launched an attack with 166 strike UAVs of the Shahed type and various types of imitation drones from regions including Oryol, Bryansk, Millerovo, Shatalovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.

The air assault was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine.

As of 09:00, the downing of 90 strike UAVs of the Shahed type and other types of drones has been confirmed in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, and Odesa regions.

72 enemy imitation drones have been location-lost without negative consequences.

As a result of the enemy attack, the Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Sumy regions were affected.

As reported by Ukrinform, in Kyiv region, there is damage in three districts as a result of the drone attack.
