Defense forces shot down 57 enemy drones, with 42 lost in specific locations.

Starting from 20:00 on Tuesday, February 4, Russian forces launched an attack on Ukraine using two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the Kursk region, along with 104 Shahed-type strike UAVs and various types of imitation drones from the directions of: Oryol, Kursk, Bryansk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.

The aerial assault was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Force, and the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

As of 09:00 on Wednesday, February 5, confirmation has been received regarding the destruction of 57 Shahed-type UAVs and other types of drones in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, and Kirovohrad regions.

42 enemy imitation drones were locally lost (without negative consequences).

As a result of the attack, the regions of Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Donetsk were affected.

As reported by Ukrinform, in the Kropyvnytskyi district of Kirovohrad region, four residential buildings were damaged due to falling debris from a downed Russian drone.
