Defense forces shot down 29 enemy drones, with 14 lost in specific locations.

As reported by Ukrinform, the press service of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has announced this via Telegram.

“As of 09:30, the downing of 29 strike UAVs of the ‘Shahed’ type and drones of other types has been confirmed in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Kirovohrad, Khmelnytskyi, Dnipropetrovsk, and Odesa regions. 14 enemy imitation drones have been lost in location (without negative consequences). As a result of the enemy attack, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kharkiv, Kyiv, and Sumy regions were affected,” the statement reads.

The press service noted that the enemy attacked with a total of 57 strike UAVs of the ‘Shahed’ type and imitation drones of various types from the directions of: Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk - Russia, Chauda - Crimea, as well as a ballistic missile ‘Iskander-M’ from Crimea.

The air assault was repelled by anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Forces, and the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

As Ukrinform reported, the total combat losses of the Russian forces in Ukraine from February 24, 2022, to January 29, 2025, amount to approximately 834,670 persons, including 1,670 persons in the past day. The Defense Forces have also destroyed 9,886 (+10) Russian tanks, 20,597 (+24) armored fighting vehicles, 22,395 (+29) artillery systems, 1,264 (+1) multiple launch rocket systems, 1,050 (+0) anti-aircraft systems, 369 (+0) aircraft, 331 (+0) helicopters, 23,456 (+57) operational-tactical level UAVs, 3,054 (+1) cruise missiles, 28 (+0) ships/boats, 1 (+0) submarine, and 35,366 (+97) vehicles and tankers, along with 3,721 (+3) special equipment.
