As reported by Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Armed Forces Air Force announced this via Telegram.
Starting from 20:00 on Sunday, February 23, the Russians launched an attack on Ukraine with 185 Shahed-type strike UAVs and various types of drone imitators from the directions of: Oryol, Bryansk, Kursk, and Chauda (temporarily occupied Crimea).
The airstrike was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As of 08:00 on Monday, February 24, the destruction of 113 Shahed-type UAVs and other types of drones has been confirmed in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Khmelnytskyi, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kherson, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
71 enemy drone imitators were lost in terms of location (without negative consequences).
As a result of the enemy attack, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Kyiv, and Khmelnytskyi regions were affected.
As Ukrinform reported, in the Brovary district of Kyiv region, debris from a Russian drone hit an unfinished multi-story building, injuring a guard of the residential complex.
