Defense forces repelled an assault near Velyka Novosilka, successfully destroying three Russian tanks in the process.

According to Ukrinform, the operational-strategic group of troops "Khortytsia" reports this on Telegram.

In the Novopavlivskyi direction, enemy assault groups attacked in the vicinity of Konstantynivka. Near Velyka Novosilka, Russian forces attempted to advance with the support of armored vehicles, which were used in two waves. Fire damage was inflicted on the columns, resulting in the destruction of three tanks, three armored personnel carriers, and one buggy. The invaders abandoned further offensive actions.

In the Kupiansk direction, Russians attacked Ukrainian positions in the areas of Petropavlivka, Pishchane, Stepova Novoselivka, and Zahryzove, but were unsuccessful. The enemy is regrouping assault units to resume offensive operations.

As stated in the report, in the Lyman direction, Russian troops also unsuccessfully tried to storm the positions of the Defense Forces near Novohorivka, Makiivka, Yampolivka, and in the Serebrianskyi forest.

In the Siverskyi direction, Ukrainian warriors successfully repelled enemy attacks near Bilohorivka and Ivano-Dariivka.

Fighting continues in the urban areas of Chasiv Yar and Toretsk in the Kramatorsk and Toretsk directions. Additionally, Russians stormed fortifications in the area of Krymske, but were unsuccessful, and no deterioration of the tactical situation was allowed, emphasized the OSUV "Khortytsia".

In the Pokrovskyi direction, the invaders attempted to leverage their numerical superiority and break through defensive lines in the areas of Zeleny Pole, Tarasivka, Myroliubivka, Promin, Uspenivka, Oleksiivka, Dachne, Yantarny, and Ulakly. To transport personnel to the front lines, the enemy tried to use three vehicles, which were detected and destroyed in advance by artillery. Ukrainian troops are holding the defense, destroying the overwhelming forces of the Russians.
