Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal made this statement during a government meeting on October 22, as reported by Ukrinform, referring to his Telegram.
"In Ukraine, the heating season is already beginning. Facilities in the social infrastructure are being connected to heating, primarily hospitals, schools, and kindergartens. The specific dates for heating supply are determined by weather conditions, based on which local authorities make their decisions," he noted.
He reminded that all 9 energy units of Ukrainian nuclear power plants are operational, covering the main generation needs. Additionally, Ukraine is receiving new generation equipment.
