This was reported by the SBU in the Kirovohrad region on Facebook, as conveyed by Ukrinform.
"The Security Service has gathered a body of evidence against collaborator Vladyslav Hulevych – a pseudo-political scientist and ideological supporter of rashism. Until 2014, he lived in Kropyvnytskyi, and then fled to Moscow, where he became active in subversive activities in favor of the Russian Federation,” the statement reads.
It is noted that after the onset of the full-scale war, Hulevych publicly supported the armed aggression of the Russian Federation and called on the occupiers to seize all of Ukraine's territory. At the same time, the individual even questioned the existence of Ukrainian statehood and the Ukrainian people. To spread destructive content, the offender publishes articles in Kremlin-affiliated online publications “Russian People’s Line” and “Segodnya.ru.”
Hulevych is also a member of the "editorial board" of the propaganda magazine of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia – “International Life.” In this publication, the collaborator prepares fake reports aimed at artificially discrediting Ukraine on the international stage, especially before our Western partners.
Expert examinations initiated by the Security Service, including linguistic analyses, confirmed the facts of the individual’s information-subversive activities in the interests of the aggressor country.
Based on the evidence obtained, investigators from the Security Service have notified Hulevych of suspicion in absentia under several articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine: Article 111-1 (collaborative activities); Article 436-2 (justification and recognition of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine as legitimate); Article 161 (violation of the equality of citizens based on their racial, national affiliation, or religious beliefs).
Comprehensive measures are underway to hold the offender accountable for crimes against Ukraine. The investigation is being conducted by SBU employees in the Kirovohrad region under the procedural guidance of the regional prosecutor's office.
As reported by Ukrinform, in Donetsk region, the SBU announced suspicion against 19 journalists collaborating with Russian occupiers and hiding in the "DPR."
