Russian forces have destroyed several positions of the Defense Forces in Toretsk, according to military sources.

The operational-strategic grouping of troops "Khortytsia" reported via Telegram, as conveyed by Ukrinform.

In the Kramatorsk and Toretsk directions, the Russian army, supported by artillery and UAVs, attacked fortifications in the areas of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Krymske, and Shcherbynivka. In Toretsk, some Ukrainian positions were destroyed. Measures are being taken to prevent the deterioration of the tactical situation.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the Russians assaulted the positions of the Defense Forces in the areas of Yelyzavetivka, Promen, Lysivka, Novoukrainka, Pishchane, Kotlyne, Nadiivka, and Andriivka. Ukrainian defenders are holding the line and eliminating enemy forces that are trying to leverage their numerical superiority and advance, noted the Operational Command "Khortytsia".

In the Kharkiv direction, Russian troops attacked the positions of the Defense Forces in Vovchansk but faced resistance.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy carried out offensive actions in the area of Zahryzove, but without success, suffering losses and retreating.

In the Lyman direction, the invaders targeted the defensive fortifications of Ukrainian forces near Zelenyi Dolyna and Yampolivka. No positional losses were sustained.

In the Siversky direction, Russian forces continue attempts to break through the defense in the area of Bilohorivka and Verkhnokamianske. The attacks were repelled, and efforts to identify and eliminate the invaders' assault groups are ongoing.

In the Novopavlivsk direction, the Russian army conducted assaults near Kostiantynivka but achieved no success. The Defense Forces continue to inflict losses on the enemy in personnel and equipment during intense defensive battles.

As reported by Ukrinform, the total combat losses of Russian troops from February 24, 2022, to March 1, 2025, amount to approximately 875,610 individuals, including 1,050 individuals lost over the past day.
