This morning, Russians shelled a village in the Kherson community, injuring an elderly woman.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the head of the Kherson Military Administration, Roman Mrochko, via Telegram.

He stated that after 6:00 AM, Russian occupiers shelled Zelenivka.

"A 72-year-old local resident was injured. She sustained mine-explosive and closed cranio-cerebral injuries, a concussion, a contusion, and a fracture of the left shoulder. The woman has been hospitalized in moderate condition," Mrochko wrote.

Additionally, in the morning, Russian occupation forces struck the territory of one of the communal enterprises of the Kherson City Council.

According to information from the MVA, during the past day, the communities of Kherson, Sadove, Antonivka, Komyshany, Prydniprovske, Inzhenerne, and Blahovishchenske came under fire from enemy artillery and drones. In particular, at least 5 private houses and one apartment building were damaged. As a result of the shelling in the community over the past day, one man sustained moderate injuries.

As reported by Ukrinform, in the Kherson region due to Russian aggression on the previous day, February 25, one person was killed and eight others were injured.
