In just one day, Russians struck 38 settlements in the Kherson region, resulting in one death and four injuries.

This was reported in Telegram by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, as conveyed by Ukrinform.

“Due to Russian aggression, one person has died, and four others have been injured,” Prokudin wrote.

According to him, in the past day, the city of Kherson and 37 other settlements in the region came under enemy fire and airstrikes.

The Russian military targeted residential areas of the settlements, damaging five private homes.

The occupiers also vandalized a gas pipeline and private vehicles.

The head of the Kherson City Military Administration, Roman Mrochko, clarified that in Kherson, on the evening of January 31, a 22-year-old young man was killed due to a drone attack.

Last night in the Dniprovskyi district, Russian terrorists attacked a father and son returning home from work with a drone. “The 22-year-old unfortunately died as a result of explosives dropped by the enemy from the drone,” he noted.

According to Mrochko, the 44-year-old father of the deceased sustained injuries and was hospitalized.

Both worked at one of the city's municipal enterprises.
