On the night of January 1, Russian troops shelled the Shalyhyn community in the Sumy region using mortars.
As reported by Ukrinform, this information was shared by the regional military administration in a Telegram post.
"During the night, the Russians shelled the Shalyhyn community. Two mortar explosions were recorded," the message states.
As Ukrinform previously reported, on December 31, Russian troops struck Shostka in the Sumy region with 13 missiles.
