The Russian army attacked the Nikopol district of the Dnipropetrovsk region on the night of January 6.
According to Serhiy Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, this information was shared on Facebook, as reported by Ukrinform.
“During the night, the aggressor launched artillery strikes on Nikopol several times. They also deployed a kamikaze drone over the area, terrorizing the communities of Nikopol, Pokrovsk, and Marganets,” Lysak noted.
He stated that there were no casualties or injuries reported.
In the evening and at night, air defense forces shot down five Russian drones in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, on January 5, the Russian army attacked the Nikopol and Kryvyi Rih districts. One person was killed.
