Russian forces targeted the Kharkiv region with drones and KAB bombs, damaging an educational institution in Zolochiv.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleg Synehubov, on Facebook.

As per his information, on the evening of February 2, in Zolochiv, Bohodukhiv district, the roof of an educational institution was damaged due to the strike of a Russian Shahed drone.

Outside the villages of Baranivka, Orishanka, and Karasivka in the Bohodukhiv district, three hits from KABs were recorded in open areas.

In the settlement of Borova, Izium district, five apartment buildings were damaged due to a KAB hitting the ground.

Synehubov informed that on the banks of the Siverskyi Donets in Izium, four men aged 35, 36, 40, and 51 were injured as a result of the detonation of an explosive object. They were hospitalized.

In the Kharkiv direction, Ukrainian forces repelled two enemy attacks near Hatyshche.

According to the head of the regional administration, the Russians attacked the fortifications in the Kupiansk direction 18 times, in the areas of Petropavlivka, Pishchane, Steppova Novoselivka, Bohuslavka, Zahryzove, and Lozova. Three clashes are still ongoing.

As reported by Ukrinform, on January 2 in Lyubotyn, Kharkiv region, a woman and a man were injured due to an attack by a Russian drone.
