This was reported by the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadim Filashkin, on Facebook, as conveyed by Ukrinform.
"On December 31, the Russians killed one resident of Donetsk region - in Uspenivka," Filashkin noted.
Since the beginning of the invasion, according to the head of the regional administration, Russian invaders have killed at least 2,917 people in the area, with no fewer than 6,541 injured. These figures do not include casualties in Mariupol and Volnovakha.
In total, as reported by the regional police, Russian forces launched 1,780 strikes on Donetsk region in the past day, damaging residential buildings.
"Over the past day, the police recorded 1,780 enemy strikes along the front line and in residential areas," the statement said.
It was noted that the enemy struck the village of Uspenivka, resulting in one fatality.
Additionally, today at around 00:01, the Russians shelled Kostiantynivka with artillery, damaging two private houses, two gas pipelines, and a power line.
Vadim Filashkin, head of the Donetsk military administration, informed via Telegram that the Russians damaged four houses in Siversk.
In the Chasovoyarska community, eight private houses and two apartment buildings were damaged.
As reported by Ukrinform, in the Kherson region, the Russian army injured five people, including a child, in one day.
