WTA Rankings: Kostyuk is the top player in Ukraine, while Kalinina has made a comeback into the top 50.

The Women's Tennis Association (WTA) has updated its ranking of athletes as of January 6.

Ukraine's top player remains Marta Kostyuk, who is currently in 18th place, as reported by Ukrinform.

Elina Svitolina has dropped 6 positions and is now ranked 29th.

Diana Yastremska is at 33rd place, while Angelina Kalinina has climbed 8 spots to 47th after reaching the semifinals in Brisbane. Yulia Starodubtseva rounds out the top hundred best female tennis players in the world, moving up 1 position.

The WTA ranking continues to be led by "neutral" Aryna Sabalenka. Poland's Iga Swiatek holds the second spot, followed by American Cori Gauff in third.
