As reported by Ukrinform, this was announced by the State Emergency Service.
“The death toll has risen to 12 people, including two children,” the statement said.
According to rescuers, a total of 17 individuals were affected, including four children aged three months, two, eight, and 12 years old. Twenty-two people have been rescued.
In addition, psychologists from the State Emergency Service and the National Police assisted 194 individuals, among them 11 children.
“The entrance from the 1st to the 5th floor was destroyed, and a fire broke out. Nearby buildings and 12 vehicles were damaged. Rescuers continue emergency operations,” the State Emergency Service added.
As Ukrinform reported, it was previously known that there were 11 fatalities and 16 injured as a result of a missile strike on Poltava, including four children.
