Посол посетил Украинский центр в Вильнюсе.

As reported by Ukrinform, this was announced on Facebook by the Embassy of Ukraine in Lithuania.

During the visit, he met with the rector of Vytautas Magnus University, Juozas Augutis, the vice-rector Vilma Biėkienė, and the center's staff.

“During the meeting, the ambassador expressed sincere gratitude for the ongoing support and significant assistance provided to the leadership and academic community of the leading Lithuanian university, where the Center has been operating for almost 3 years,” the diplomatic mission reported.

Petro Beshta also thanked the team of the Ukrainian Center and volunteers for their tireless efforts aimed at its development.

The diplomat emphasized that the Ukrainian Center has become a true heart of Ukraine in Lithuania. He highlighted the importance of this cultural and educational space in promoting and preserving Ukrainian culture, implementing innovative projects, and deepening Ukrainian-Lithuanian friendship and partnership.

The ambassador also pointed out that the Center restores opportunities taken away from Ukrainians by the Russian invasion and opens new prospects: the chance to learn, grow, feel needed, be among their own, and experience support.

It should be noted that Ambassador of Ukraine Petro Beshta visited the Ukrainian school "Gravitacija" in Vilnius, where he learned about the activities of the high school and interacted with students and teachers.
