Польша подняла истребители F-16 из-за ракетного обстрела Украины.

This was reported on social media X by the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces, as conveyed by Ukrinform.

“Attention, due to the strike by the Russian Federation on facilities located, in particular, in western Ukraine, Polish and allied aviation has begun operations in our airspace,” the Polish command informed.

It is noted that, in accordance with existing procedures, the operational commander of the armed forces has mobilized all available forces and resources at his disposal, with alert fighter pairs being scrambled, and ground air defense and radar reconnaissance systems placed on combat readiness.

The measures taken are aimed at ensuring safety in the areas adjacent to the threatened zone.

The Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces is monitoring the current situation, and the subordinate forces and resources remain in full readiness for immediate response.

As reported by Ukrinform, a large-scale air alert has been declared across Ukraine due to the threat of ballistic weaponry.

Previously, President Volodymyr Zelensky noted that the security agreement signed in Warsaw in July this year includes the development of a mechanism for Poland to intercept Russian missiles and drones in the airspace of Ukraine directed towards the Republic of Poland.
