As reported by Ukrinform, Plast in Latvia announced this on its Facebook page.
“This foundation does an incredible amount for Ukraine's victory both directly in Ukraine and supports good Ukrainian initiatives in Latvia, including funding the summer Plast camp 'Peraveslo' last summer in Latvia for Ukrainian children from Ukraine and Latvia,” the post states.
On this occasion, the scouts tied an international Plast scarf to the head of the foundation, Rūta Dimanta, and expressed gratitude for the support of Plast initiatives, as well as delivered the Bethlehem peace flame to the organization.
“With this performance, we wanted to thank all Latvian donors who contribute so much to Ukraine, and the funds from individuals and organizations are collected and managed by the Ziedot.lv foundation,” added Plast.
The organization expressed gratitude to the foundation employee and Plast friend Oksana Honcharenko for her organizational support.
Recall that representatives of Plast, accompanied by bandura player Daria Leleko, visited the Ukrainian embassy in Riga with a Christmas nativity play.
