Scouts from Denmark delivered the Bethlehem Peace Flame to the Ukrainian ambassador.
As reported by Ukrinform, this information was shared on the Facebook page of "Plast Denmark."
The organization noted that this symbol of light, goodness, and unity brings together millions of people each year, reminding us of the value of peace, especially for Ukrainians.
“Together with the Ambassador, we wished for peace for Ukraine and the entire world, discussing Plast's activities in Denmark, its challenges, and achievements,” the post states.
Additionally, the meeting participants contemplated potential collaboration to support the Ukrainian community during the war and to promote the scouting movement among Ukrainian children.
“We thank the Embassy of Ukraine in Denmark for the warm welcome and support! The light of the Bethlehem flame reminds us that even in the darkest times, we can be a light for one another. Together towards victory and peace!” the organization added.
As a reminder, representatives of the Ukrainian international scouting organization "Plast" in Poland visited the Ukrainian embassy in Warsaw with a nativity scene.
