If successful in the new funding round, the company's valuation will rise to 340 billion dollars US.

According to informed sources, SoftBank, led by CEO Masayoshi Son, is currently at the forefront of this round.

It is prepared to invest between 15 to 25 billion dollars in the AI startup.

It is noted that the last valuation of OpenAI by private investors was 157 billion dollars. At the end of 2022, the company launched its chatbot ChatGPT, marking the beginning of an artificial intelligence boom.

OpenAI completed its last funding round of 6.6 billion dollars in October, gearing up to compete with Elon Musk's xAI, as well as Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and Anthropic.
