The mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov, reported this on Telegram, as conveyed by Ukrinform.
"Preliminary information indicates that the strike on Kharkiv was carried out by a Shahed-type UAV. As a result of the attack on Kharkiv, one person has died, and four others have been injured," he stated.
In turn, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synegubov, clarified that a woman around 60 years old was killed due to the Russian strike on Kharkiv. He later added that the total number of injured has now risen to five.
Additionally, according to police, the villages of Kopanky and Hlazunivka in the Izium district of Kharkiv region were subjected to missile attacks overnight. No information regarding injuries has been reported.
It is worth noting that Russian troops struck the Kholodnohirs’kyi district of Kharkiv on the morning of February 1. Initially, it was reported that there were two injured.
