The UK's Chief of Defence Staff assured that Ukraine will continue to receive military assistance.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, and the Chief of the Defence Staff of the British Armed Forces, Admiral Sir Anthony Radakin, held a video conference to discuss the needs of Ukraine's Defense Forces.

Syreski announced this on Facebook, as reported by Ukrinform.

"He shared an assessment of the situation in the areas of combat operations, as well as ways to strengthen and enhance the effectiveness of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He discussed the needs of Ukraine's Defense Forces in terms of weapons, military equipment, ammunition, material resources, and personnel training," noted the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to him, together with Radakin, they evaluated the potential for developing Ukrainian-British military cooperation to protect Ukraine and strengthen European security.

"I received confirmation from the Chief of the Defence Staff of the United Kingdom about the readiness of the British side to continue supporting Ukraine's independence and territorial integrity," stated Syreski.

He added that Admiral Radakin once again assured him of the United Kingdom's readiness to provide military assistance to Ukraine's Defense Forces.

The Head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak and the Chief of the Defence Staff of the United Kingdom, Admiral Anthony Radakin, discussed the continuation of support for Ukraine.

"Meeting with the head of the United Kingdom Ministry of Defence, Admiral Anthony Radakin. I highlighted the United Kingdom's leadership in supporting Ukraine and thanked them for the military assistance packages. We discussed the continuation of support for Ukraine," - stated the Head of the Office of the President.

As reported by Ukrinform, during the Ukraine-NATO Council meeting, Ukraine's Defense Minister Rustem Umerov called on NATO countries to invest in the Ukrainian defense industry.
