As of February 28, the average retail prices are:
- gasoline A-95 at 56.91 hryvnias per liter (-0.05 hryvnias over the month),
- diesel fuel at 55.30 hryvnias per liter (-0.02 hryvnias),
- autogas at 36.98 hryvnias per liter (-0.19 hryvnias).
According to the director of "Consulting Group A-95," Serhiy Kuyun, we are currently experiencing the peak of the "dead season" - fuel consumption is minimal, and there are plenty of supplies. Therefore, there is a high likelihood that prices may decrease slightly in the near future.
"I am confident that there is potential for price reduction by one hryvnia. The main factor is low demand. Sales are virtually nonexistent right now, so they need to be stimulated, and the best way to do that is through price reduction. Therefore, it is likely that prices for all types of fuel, such as A-98, A-95, A-92, and diesel, may decrease. However, the situation with gas is different. In my opinion, gas does not have significant potential for reduction, as its price is already stable," noted Kuyun.
