“As a result of enemy strikes, five civilians sustained injuries,” the message states.
It is noted that enemy shelling caused damage to six private houses, two vehicles, a business facility, as well as a fuel tank and the roof of an outbuilding.
Overall, during the past day, Russian forces attacked 43 populated areas in the Sumy region, recording 154 strikes from various types of weapons.
Based on these facts, investigators have opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Violation of the laws and customs of war.”
As reported, during the night and morning of January 4, the invaders shelling the border area in Sumy three times, with 8 explosions recorded.
