In Prykarpattia, in the village of Nastashyne, five people died in a traffic accident involving a passenger car and a freight truck.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Ivano-Frankivsk region on Facebook, as conveyed by Ukrinform.

“On December 30 at 21:49, a report was received on the emergency line 101 about a traffic accident on the N-09 road ‘Mukachevo-Lviv’ in the village of Nastashyne, Burshtyn community, Ivano-Frankivsk district, involving a passenger car and a freight truck, resulting in the deaths of 5 individuals,” the emergency service stated.

According to their information, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 15-year-old girl, an 18-year-old girl, and three boys born in 2004, 2006, and 2008.

All circumstances of the accident are being investigated by law enforcement.

As reported by Ukrinform, in Transcarpathia, a bus overturned, injuring 10 passengers.
