In the Pokrovsk direction, the invaders attempted to exploit their numerical superiority and breach Ukrainian defensive positions in the areas of the settlements of Vodiane Druhe, Promin, Pishchane, Kotlyne, Udachne, Dachenke, Andriivka, and Ulakly. Near Troitske and Nadiivka, the enemy tried to deploy assault groups using vehicles. Ukrainian fighters destroyed six Russian vehicles and are taking measures to prevent the deterioration of the tactical situation.
Over the past day, in the Kharkiv direction, the enemy attacked the positions of the Defense Forces in Vovchansk, suffered losses, and retreated.
In the Kupiansk direction, the Russians attempted to break through the defenses of Ukrainian troops in the areas of Petropavlivka and Zahryzove. In the direction of Novoih Kruhlyakivka, the invaders attacked using armored vehicles. In response, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed one tank and two BMPs.
In the Lyman direction, Russian troops tried to storm the positions of the Defense Forces near Katerynivka, Novolyubivka, Novo, and in the Serebriansky forest. The deterioration of the tactical situation was prevented.
In the Kramatorsk and Toretsk directions, fighting continued in the areas of Stupochky, Krymske, and in the urban development of Toretsk. Enemy attacks were repelled.
In the Novopavlivsk direction, the RF army advanced towards Kostiantynopil and Burlatske. To transport assault groups, the invaders used motorcycles. Artillery and drone operators destroyed and damaged nine motorcycles. The search for and destruction of Russian personnel continues.
As Ukrinform reported, on the front over the past day, February 24, there were 98 recorded combat engagements between the Defense Forces and Russian invaders, and in the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled 28 enemy assaults.
