This was announced during a TV broadcast by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synegubov, as reported by a Ukrinform correspondent.
“This is an experimental project supported by our international partners. The distribution of liquefied gas cylinders has commenced. Approximately one hundred cylinders have been delivered to households. It was quite challenging to ensure logistics and the overall organization of this project,” said Synegubov.
According to him, the gas was first transported to the region—at stations capable of receiving it, and then the cylinders were filled.
“This old system of cylinders and vehicles has long since disappeared. Therefore, we built everything ‘from scratch’,” noted the head of the OVA.
The first cylinders were delivered to villages in the Izyum district. The total need for liquefied gas, according to the regional administration, is 22,440 households.
As reported by Ukrinform, an experimental project has been implemented for residents of Donetsk, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions, under which they will receive gas in cylinders as humanitarian aid. Residents of frontline and liberated settlements lacking gas supply will receive the cylinders, prioritizing low-income families and pensioners.
