In the past day, there were 167 clashes on the front lines, with the majority occurring in the Pokrovsk direction.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook, releasing operational information as of 08:00 on Sunday, January 26, as conveyed by Ukrinform.

The Russian army, as informed by the General Staff, is attacking Ukrainian positions, leveraging its advantage in personnel and equipment. Ukrainian defenders are steadfastly resisting the onslaught, inflicting significant losses on the enemy.

Yesterday, the invaders launched 65 airstrikes on the positions of the Defense Forces and populated areas, dropping 113 guided aerial bombs. They also conducted over five thousand shellings, 104 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems, and employed 1969 kamikaze drones for strikes.

Enemy airstrikes particularly targeted the Berislav district of Kherson region and Mala Tokmachka in Zaporizhzhia region.

Ukrainian missile troops and artillery hit four areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment of the Russian army, as well as an enemy drone control point over the past day.

In the Kupiansk direction, Russian forces conducted nine attacks in a day. Ukrainian defenders repelled assault actions near Petropavlivka, Pishchane, Hlushkivka, and Lozova.

In the Lyman direction, the invaders attacked 26 times, attempting to break through the defense near Tverdokhlibove, Novosergiyivka, Shiykivka, Nova Kruhlyakivka, Druzhlyubivka, Hrekivka, Pershotravneve, Kopanky, towards Novolyubivka, Makiyivka, Zeleny Dolyna, and Torske.

In the Siversk direction, the Russian army attacked in the area of Verkhnokamianka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Russian troops launched 33 attacks in the areas of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Novomarkove, Chasiv Yar, Stupochky, Predtechyne, and Bila Hora.

In the Toretsk direction, the invaders carried out ten attacks in the area of Toretsk.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders halted 52 enemy assault actions towards Vodyane Druhe, Yelyzavetivka, Myrolyubivka, Promin, Zelenyi, Udachny, Novooleksandrivka, Kotlyn, Bohdanivka, Andriivka, Shevchenka, Dachne, Ulakliv, Kostiantynivskyi, Pokrovsk, Vidrodzhennia, and Uspenivka.

In the Novopavlivsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled nine Russian attacks. The enemy attempted to advance most actively in the areas of Novosilka, Novodarivka, Kostiantynivka, and Velyka Novosilka.

In the Dnipro direction, the Defense Forces are making efforts to prevent the advancement of Russian troops deep into Ukrainian territory. Defenders successfully repelled two assaults.

In the Orikhiv, Huliaipole, and Kharkiv directions, the invaders did not conduct offensive actions yesterday.

In the Kursk region, Ukrainian defenders repelled 16 assault actions. The Russian army conducted 292 artillery shellings and 33 airstrikes in this area yesterday, dropping 57 guided aerial bombs.

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of the enemy forming offensive groups were detected.
