According to Ukrinform, this is stated in the report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook regarding the situation as of 8:00 AM on Friday, February 28.
Yesterday, the Russians launched one missile strike and 91 airstrikes, deployed one missile, and dropped 128 guided aerial bombs.
Additionally, the enemy carried out over five thousand shellings, including 162 from multiple launch rocket systems, and employed 2865 kamikaze drones for strikes.
The Russian army conducted airstrikes in the regions of Krasnopillia in Sumy Oblast; Halahanivka in Chernihiv Oblast; Riasne, Slatyne, and Doroshivka in Kharkiv Oblast; Siversk, Kramatorsk, Kostiantynivka, Oleksiivka, Pokrovsk, Udaichne, Zvirivka, Oleksandro-Kalynove, Hrodivka, Nadiivka, Horikhove, and Novopillia in Donetsk Oblast; Kamianske, Malyi Shcherbakiv, Zaliznychne, Huliaipole, and Novodarivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast; Tiahynka, Prydniprovsk, Tarasivka, and Inhulets in Kherson Oblast.
Over the past day, the missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck one personnel concentration area, two air defense systems, and three artillery systems of the Russians.
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy attempted to breach defensive lines six times towards Vovchansk and Kindrashivka.
3 In the Lyman direction, Russian forces attacked six times, trying to infiltrate the defense near Yamplivka, Torske, Zelenyi Dolyna, and Kolodiaziv.
4 In the Siversk direction, two Russian attacks were repelled in the area of Bilohorivka.
