According to Ukrinform, this is mentioned in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook regarding the situation as of 8:00 AM on Sunday, February 2.

Yesterday, Russian forces launched two missile strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, utilizing 40 missiles, as well as 40 airstrikes with 47 guided bombs.

Additionally, the enemy conducted nearly 5,500 shelling attacks, including 128 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used over 2,000 kamikaze drones for strikes.

The Russian army carried out airstrikes in particular in the areas of Zapadne, Bilytske, Ulakly, Rozliv, Vremivka, Vesele, Burlatske, and Novopil.

Over the last day, aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck 13 areas where personnel and equipment were concentrated, as well as two command points of the Russian invaders.

In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations yesterday.

In the Kupiansk direction, there were 17 attacks by the Russian army, which the Defense Forces repelled in the areas of the settlements of Topoli, Dvorichna, Petropavlivka, Stepova Novosilka, Hlushkivka, Zahryzove, and Lozova.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 15 times, trying to advance near Novoyehorivka, Terniv, Yampolivka, Kolodiaziv, Torsk, and towards Novomykhailivka.

In the Seversk direction, units of the Defense Forces repelled four attacks from Russian troops near Verkhnokam'yanske and Bilohorivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, seven clashes were recorded in the areas of the settlements of Chasiv Yar, Stupochky, and Bila Hora.

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out seven attacks in the areas of Toretsk and Krymske.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders halted 40 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of Zelenyi Pol, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Zviriv, Udachny, Uspenivka, Novooleksandrivka, Sribne, and Dachne.

In the Novopavlivsk direction, the Russian army conducted two attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops, attempting to advance towards Kostiantynopil and Rozliv.

In the Huliaipilsk direction, the Russians made two attempts to push Ukrainian defenders from their positions in the area of Novosilka.

In the Orikhivsk direction, there were two clashes with Russian invaders in the area of Shcherbakiv and Nesterianka.

In the Dniprovsk direction, the enemy unsuccessfully attempted to storm the positions of Ukrainian units once.

In the operational zone in the Kursk region, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled eight attacks from Russian invaders over the past day. Additionally, the enemy launched 19 airstrikes using 24 guided bombs and carried out 351 artillery shellings, including five from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Volyn and Polissya directions, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.

Along the border with the Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the Russians are actively using artillery and strike drones from their territory against Ukrainian towns and villages.
