As reported by Ukrinform, this was announced by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
“We are currently establishing a support system for our military personnel who have experienced captivity. Each reintegration center will have specialists for an individualized approach to rehabilitation - from medical examinations to psychological adaptation,” stated Acting Secretary of the Ministry of Defense Nikita Nikitenko.
It is noted that the order has identified two additional healthcare facilities of the Ministry of Defense in the central region that will provide medical and psychological assistance to military personnel who were in captivity.
This decision is based on the recently adopted Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine Regarding the Provision of Social Protection Rights for Military Personnel and Police.” The document stipulates mandatory reintegration measures and post-isolation support for those released from captivity.
The centers will be able to respond promptly to the needs of the released military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the intelligence agency of the Ministry of Defense, and the State Special Transport Service.
As reported by Ukrinform, a new feature has appeared on the electronic services portal soc.gov.ua, allowing individuals to submit requests for rehabilitation resources.
