The NBU anticipates that the average minimum wage will increase from 8,000 UAH to 8,370 UAH in 2026, and to 8,950 UAH in 2027.
The Cabinet of Ministers approved the Budget Declaration for 2025-2027 in June 2024, proposing to refrain from raising the minimum wage and the subsistence minimum during these years.
According to the document, "in 2025-2027, the minimum wage will remain at 8,000 UAH, ensuring the achieved level of guarantees considering the significant increase in 2024."
Wages for employees in the budget sector will be based on the salary of an employee in the first tariff category of the Unified Tariff Scale, remaining at the level of December 2024.
The state budget for 2025 does not foresee an increase in the minimum wage.
