The "Cultural Descent" event took place, bringing together the Ukrainian community in Warsaw.

Participants of the "Cultural Descent" – military personnel and artists Mykola Sierha, Taras Stolyar, and Olha Rukavishnikova – visited the Ukrainian community in Warsaw on February 3rd to share their creativity, support, and belief in victory.

The first meeting took place at VSHKOLU – the Warsaw Ukrainian School, where students had the opportunity to engage with guests, hear their stories, and receive words of encouragement.

“The musical pieces performed for the children once again demonstrated that Ukrainian culture is our strength and identity,” shared the diplomatic representation.

A meeting with community representatives also took place at the Ukrainian House (Ukraiński Dom) in the capital of Poland.

“We discussed the power of art during wartime, the importance of supporting the military, and how culture helps us maintain unity. The evening was filled with heartfelt conversations, inspiring music, and shared energy,” the post stated.

An auction was also held to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine – items presented by participants of the “Cultural Descent” helped raise a significant amount for the needs of Ukrainian soldiers.

Additionally, a meeting took place at the Ukrainian embassy in Poland, where cultural diplomacy and support for Ukrainians abroad were discussed.

The embassy expressed gratitude to the “Cultural Descent” for their dedication to art, the military, and every Ukrainian who continues to fight for their country.

Let us remind you that a concert by the “Cultural Descent” – an organization comprised of artists serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine – took place in the capital of Turkey. Their activities aim to support the moral and psychological state, cultural and educational level, and motivation of the personnel through culture and art.
