At 15:20 Kyiv time, the women's sprint over 7.5 km with two shooting rounds will be held, as reported by Ukrinform.
Representing Ukraine will be Olena Horodna (starting number 11), Yuliia Dzhyma (22), Khrystyna Dmytrenko (32), Anna Kryvonos (33), and Daryna Chalyk (79). On January 10, the men's sprint distance of 10 km will be contested.
Both pursuit races are scheduled for January 11.
The Oberhof stage will conclude on January 12 with mixed and single mixed relays.
In the overall World Cup standings, Norwegian Johannes Thingnes Bø and German Franziska Preuss are leading.
The best among Ukrainians are Vitalii Mandzyn (20th place), Dmytro Pidruchnyi (23), and Anton Dudchenko (25).
Among Ukrainian women, Yuliia Dzhyma holds the 18th position, Khrystyna Dmytrenko is in 30th place, and Oleksandra Merkusheva is in 69th.
In total, there will be 9 stages in the World Cup (next up are Ruhpolding, Antholz, Nove Mesto, Pokljuka, and Holmenkollen).
The Biathlon World Championship will be held in Lenzerheide (Switzerland) from February 12 to 23.
