В понедельник волна «минирования»: полиция проверила все сообщения - ни одно не подтвердилось.
The police have checked all locations regarding reports of bomb threats received on Monday, October 14, and all these claims turned out to be false.

This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine's communication department, as conveyed by Ukrinform.

"Yesterday, on October 14, anonymous letters regarding bomb threats to their buildings were sent to the electronic addresses of state authorities, local governments, and other entities across all regions of the country. Police units have responded to all establishments that received bomb threat signals - all of them were found to be false," the police informed.

It is noted that the majority of these reports originated from Russian IP addresses. Law enforcement processed over 2000 calls, primarily concerning information about the mining of administrative buildings.

Criminal proceedings have been initiated under Article 259 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine for knowingly false reports about threats to public safety.

The National Police of Ukraine stated that such messages are the hallmark of Russian special services, which are waging a hybrid war against Ukraine, attempting to cause mass panic and exhaust the state and law enforcement systems.

Law enforcement reminded that back in 2022, the National Police developed and approved a response algorithm for police agencies and units in response to mass reports of bombing threats.

This algorithm significantly increased the role of the operational component, including the involvement of cyber police units and criminal analysis in handling such reports.

The agency assured that the police have sufficient resources and means to ensure the implementation of all relevant security measures in such cases.

"We urge citizens to be vigilant and assist the police in carrying out their duties. We also remind that knowingly false reports about threats to public safety entail criminal liability of up to eight years in prison (Article 259 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)," the statement noted.

As previously reported, on Monday, a number of state authorities, local governments, and other entities across Ukraine received anonymous letters about the bombing of their buildings. Law enforcement conducted checks in connection with this.
