The Ukrainian U20 hockey team kicks off their campaign at the 2025 World Championship in Estonia.

The Ukrainian youth ice hockey team (players under 20 years old) is set to compete in Division IB of the World Championship, which will take place from January 11 to 17 in Tallinn, Estonia.

In their opening match, the "blue and yellow" team will face the Estonians today at 16:00, as reported by Ukrinform.

On the first day of the tournament, Poland will also play against Italy (12:30), while South Korea will take on Japan (19:30).

On January 12, the Ukrainians will play against Poland (12:30), on January 14 - against Italy (16:00), on January 16 - against South Korea (16:00), and on January 17 - against Japan (12:30).

The tournament winner will qualify for Division IA of the World Championship (U20), which is the second highest tier.
