In the evening and at night, Russian troops attacked the Nikopol district of the Dnipropetrovsk region, causing destruction.

This was reported on Telegram by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, as conveyed by Ukrinform.

"The aggressor continued to attack Nikopol in the evening and at night. They used Grad multiple rocket launchers, artillery, and kamikaze drones. The district center and the Myrivska community were under fire," he wrote.

Seven private houses and six farm buildings were damaged. Another building caught fire, which firefighters managed to extinguish. A medical center was also severely damaged. A gas pipeline was affected.

There are no casualties or injuries reported.

It is noted that an enemy drone was shot down over the region.

As reported by Ukrinform, Russian troops launched nearly 20 strikes on the Nikopol district of Dnipropetrovsk region during the day on December 31.
