Last year, the state budget collected 133.6 billion in excise tax.

The State Tax Service reported this, as conveyed by Ukrinform.

"In 2024, the general fund of the state budget received 133.6 billion UAH in excise tax from produced and imported excise goods. This is an increase of 16.5% (18.9 billion UAH) compared to 2023," the statement says.

It is noted that the revenue indicator was fulfilled at 103.3%, with an additional 4.3 billion UAH received by the budget.

According to the State Tax Service, revenues from alcoholic beverages produced and imported into the customs territory of Ukraine amounted to 11 billion UAH, which is 8.5% (0.9 billion UAH) higher than the figure for 2023 and exceeds the planned indicators by 15% (1.4 billion UAH).

Regarding tobacco products, last year’s revenue was 96.6 billion UAH, which is 20.3% (16.3 billion UAH) above the figures for 2023 and 7.7% more than the planned revenue target.

As reported by Ukrinform, the consolidated budget in 2024 received 1.9 billion UAH more in taxes and fees from the production and sale of alcoholic beverages compared to 2023.
