The Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU) has announced this.
To retire, one must have the minimum required insurance experience, which varies by age. In 2025, there will be changes in the minimum requirements for the age groups of 60 and 63 years.
The new requirements for minimum insurance experience will be as follows:
- Pensioners who wish to retire at 60 years must have at least 32 years of insurance experience
- At 63 years — a minimum of 22 years of insurance experience
- At 65 years — 15 years of insurance experience
The minimum experience required for 60 and 63 years will increase until 2028. For those aiming to retire at 65, the requirements will remain unchanged. Such individuals will still only need to have 15 years of insurance experience.
It is worth noting that starting from January this year, new conditions for retirement pension by age have come into effect in Ukraine.
