As reported by Ukrinform, this was announced by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.
"As of October 1, 2024, 31 creditor banks are servicing 20,697 loans totaling 71.5 billion UAH. The obligations for the principal debt, partially secured by state guarantees on a portfolio basis, amounted to 32.2 billion UAH," the statement said.
In terms of the number of loans under state guarantees, PrivatBank leads with 14,126 loans totaling 23.1 billion UAH. The second in the number of such loans is Oschadbank with 2,783 loans totaling 11.1 billion UAH. Also in the top three is Ukrgasbank with 961 loans amounting to 10.2 billion UAH.
By types of activity, agriculture prevails with 4,994 loans totaling 29.8 billion UAH, wholesale and retail trade with 8,865 loans amounting to nearly 19 billion UAH, and the manufacturing industry with 3,443 loans totaling 15.8 billion UAH.
In September, 814 loan agreements were signed for 2.9 billion UAH, with a portion of the principal debt obligations guaranteed by the state, amounting to 1.6 billion UAH.
Overall, since the introduction of the portfolio guarantee instrument in December 2020, 40,240 loans have been issued in Ukraine totaling 128.5 billion UAH.
As reported by Ukrinform, the total resource of the State Budget of Ukraine for financing public investment projects in 2025 amounts to 256.1 billion UAH.
