This was reported during a television broadcast by the spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service, Andriy Demchenko, as conveyed by Ukrinform.
“In the past day, our border groups recorded approximately 150 shellings. Most of these occurred in the directions of Sumy and Kharkiv regions, with fewer incidents reported in the direction of Chernihiv region,” Demchenko stated.
According to him, the enemy is utilizing aviation, artillery, and UAVs for shelling the border areas, as well as employing sabotage and reconnaissance groups.
“The enemy is using aviation to shell Sumy and Chernihiv regions, with most of the attacks carried out using artillery systems and UAVs. Our soldiers are also countering attempts of the enemy’s sabotage activities, with the highest number of such cases occurring in the Sumy region. There are also attempts by sabotage-reconnaissance groups in Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions. Recently, we have observed such activity in Sumy and Kharkiv, although it has decreased,” the spokesperson of the State Border Guard Service noted.
As reported by Ukrinform, earlier the State Border Guard Service mentioned that during UAV attacks, the enemy often uses decoys.
