This was reported by the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development, as conveyed by Ukrinform.
“The Administrative Council of the Council of Europe Development Bank approved funding applications for a new project aimed at providing housing for internally displaced persons and the continuation of the ‘HOME: Compensation for Destroyed Housing’ project during its meeting, which operates under the eRecovery program,” the statement reads.
For the subsidized loan project for IDPs, 50 million euros have been allocated. As a result, 1,460 Ukrainian families will be provided with housing under the most accessible conditions throughout 2025.
As reported, at the beginning of December 2024, Ukraine received 30 million euros from the Council of Europe Development Bank for the continuation of the compensation program for destroyed housing, which is aimed at funding over 800 housing certificates.
