The press service of the State Emergency Service reported this in Telegram, as conveyed by Ukrinform.
“On January 27, in the early morning hours, the enemy attacked the Prykarpattia region, resulting in fires at two locations on one of the infrastructure sites in the Ivano-Frankivsk district. There are no casualties,” the statement reads.
It is noted that rescuers quickly localized and extinguished a fire covering an area of 100 square meters, while efforts to extinguish a fire spanning 500 square meters are ongoing.
A total of 58 rescuers and 25 units of emergency service equipment are currently on site.
As reported by the head of the Ivano-Frankivsk regional state administration, Svitlana Onyshchuk, in Telegram, “a series of explosions occurred in Prykarpattia. During the night, the enemy attacked the region multiple times, utilizing strike drones. The targets were critical infrastructure facilities.”
According to Ukrinform, Defense Forces shot down 57 enemy drones overnight, with 39 lost in specific locations.
