As reported by Ukrinform, the "ATESH" movement shared this information on Facebook.
"The Russian Federation is changing its fuel storage tactics in the occupied areas. Agents of the 'ATESH' movement are observing a rise in the number of civilian fuel tankers operating in the interests of the occupying army," the statement reads.
ATESH emphasized that this approach is an effort by the command of the Russian Armed Forces to protect logistics, which has been significantly affected by a series of successful strikes from the Ukrainian Defense Forces, aided by the work of activists.
According to "ATESH," this tactic was adopted by the Russian invaders immediately after the statement from Russian Defense Minister Andrey Biloусов, stating that "a tiered network of warehouses should replace military bases in the Russian Federation."
ATESH highlighted that in doing so, the Russians are endangering the local population and violating the Geneva Convention.
As reported by Ukrinform, an 'ATESH' agent gathered information on the personnel of the 28th arsenal of the Aerospace Forces of the Russian Federation in the Tambov region.
