During the night, Russian forces shelled residential areas in the Korabelny district of Kherson, resulting in the near-total destruction of an apartment.

As reported by Ukrinform, the relevant video was published on Facebook by the head of the Kherson Military Administration, Roman Mrochko.

“During the night, Russian occupiers shelled the residential quarters of the Korabelny district in Kherson. As a result of a direct hit from one of the enemy shells, an apartment was almost completely destroyed. A tragedy was avoided — the owners of the apartment were not present at the time,” the statement reads.

Additionally, the Military Administration reports that Russian troops continued to shell populated areas within the Kherson city territorial community over the past day. Damage has been recorded in Kherson, Komyshany, Sadove, and Antonivka.

In particular, at least 4 private houses, 5 apartment buildings, a medical facility, a business, a cafe, a museum, a garage, and 2 cars were damaged.

Over the past day, as a result of enemy shelling in the community, one man was killed, and 11 people were injured.

As reported by Ukrinform, two people were killed and another 15 were injured in Kherson Oblast due to enemy strikes over the past day.
