Electricity consumption is decreasing in Ukraine.
Due to the efficient operation of home solar panels, electricity consumption on the morning of January 30 was 2.4% lower compared to the previous day.

As reported by Ukrinform, this information comes from the NEC "Ukrenergo" on Facebook.
"Today, January 30, as of 9:30 AM, the level of electricity consumption was 2.4% lower than the previous day – Wednesday. The reason is the sunny weather in the western and parts of the northern and central regions, which leads to high productivity of household solar power plants," the report states.
At the same time, Ukrenergo noted that the situation in the energy system may change. Restoration works are ongoing at energy facilities that were damaged by massive Russian attacks.
As previously reported, electricity distribution system operators (DSOs) repaired over 29,000 km of power lines and several substations in 2024.
