According to Ukrinform, DTEK Kyiv Electric Networks reported this on Facebook.
“A portion of homes in the Desnyanskyi district of the capital (Troieshchyna) is currently without power. We are currently assessing the scope of work and will inform you about the time for restoring electricity soon,” the message states.
The energy workers assured that they are doing everything possible to restore power as quickly as possible.
Rescuers have extinguished the fire at the substation in the Desnyanskyi district of Kyiv, as reported on Facebook by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service in Kyiv.
On January 10 at 6:34 a.m., a report was received about a fire on Zakrevskyi Street.
The fire occurred in a cable channel at the substation. After receiving permission to extinguish the fire, it was eliminated at 7:44 a.m. using fire extinguishers.
There were no injuries. The cause of the fire will be investigated by law enforcement, as emphasized by the State Emergency Service.
As reported by Ukrinform, in Kyiv, more than 230 buildings are temporarily disconnected from heating due to damage to the heating network on January 9 at the intersection of Zhylianska and Symon Petliura Streets.
